Hamdard University do not offer any scholarships in first semester, form second semester and onward students can avail scholarship. This is decided by the Board on merit basis.

Students with HSSC/ A-Level/ Equivalent (Phy, Maths and Computer) are eligible to apply for the program of BS (Computer Science, Software Engineering) along with only one Engineering program BE( Computer System Engineering) only.

The class strength is generally between 40 and 50.

The HIET programs are approved by HEC, PEC & NCEAC and the student shall have no difficulty in getting admissions abroad.

HIET follows the semester system. Each program is of eight semesters and each semester is of eighteen weeks duration. There will be two semesters in each year.

Yes, there are a limited number of seats for DAEs in our engineering programs. In sciences, however, there are no such limitations.

BS Computer Science / Software Engineering:
  • * Matric (Science Group) and Minimum of 50% marks FSc Pre-Engineering or Computer Science group or equivalent exam.
  • * Matric / O level / Equivalent qualification (Science Group) and FSc / A level / equivalent qualification (Pre-Engineering OR Computer Science Group) with minimum 50% marks.

Intelligence questions will pertain to Arithmetical Reasoning, Critical Thinking, Analytical Approach and Problem Solving.

Submission of only O&A level grades/ mark sheets will not serve the purpose. Equivalence certificates duly issued by IBCC, Pakistan are necessary for those candidates who do not possess Matric & F.SC / FA qualifications.
